Minister Ambrose marks 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day
Minister Rona Ambrose marked the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day in part by addressing 250 women at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. The event was hosted by the White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood, the Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of Canada, and the Canadian Foundation for Women’s Health and helped raise $30, 000 for child and maternal care in Canada and in Haiti.
