Minister Ambrose Attends Spruce Grove West District Park Grand Opening

![]() Minister Ambrose presents a commemorative plaque from the Government of Canada to Mayor Staurt Houston and the City of Spruce Grove Today in Spruce Grove, Minister Ambrose participated in the opening of the doors to the region’s newest outdoor sport and recreation facility and presented the City of Spruce Grove with a commemorative plaque on behalf of the Government of Canada. “This modern, accessible facility will strengthen the community and provide long-lasting health, social and economic benefits for present and future generations,” said Minister Ambrose. “The Government of Canada is proud to be a part of this partnership effort and congratulates everyone involved in making West District Park a reality.” “This is an exceptionally proud day for the community,” said Mayor Stuart Houston, City of Spruce Grove. “West District Park will greatly enhance the quality of life of our residents. Soccer and footballs teams will now have the opportunity to play at a state-of-the-art facility close to home”. Minister Ambrose and the Government of Canada are proud to have invested in West District Park to ensure that communities like Spruce Grove remain vibrant and productive places to live, work and raise families. |
